Client Delivery Officer – Client Relations & Business Development

About the role

We are looking for a professional, confident and results‑oriented Client Delivery Officer to manage client relationships, ensure excellent service delivery and support our business development objectives. The officer will act as the primary point of contact for clients, understand their needs, coordinate service delivery and build lasting relationships that drive retention and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Serve as the main point of contact, handling enquiries, requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery that meets client expectations.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to generate additional business from current clients.
• Prospect for new clients through referrals, networks and direct engagement, maintaining a pipeline of prospects.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads and business opportunities, and prepare periodic activity reports.

Required profile

• OND, HND, B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a customer‑facing role such as client servicing, sales or business development.
• Strong knowledge of customer relationship management and proven ability to build professional relationships.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with strong follow‑up capability.
• Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to new client acquisition and revenue targets.
