Cashier – Retail Customer Service

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cashier to join our retail team in Lagos. You will be the front‑line representative handling cash and electronic payments while delivering friendly service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash, card and POS transactions accurately and issue receipts.
• Maintain daily transaction records and ensure cash accountability.
• Assist customers with payment‑related enquiries and provide excellent service.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervising manager promptly.
• Support store operations by keeping the checkout area organized.

Required profile

• OND or B.Sc. in any relevant discipline.
• At least 12 months of experience as a cashier in a retail or supermarket environment.
• Strong numerical ability, attention to detail and trustworthy attitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced setting.
• Female candidates are preferred.

Required skills

• POS system operation.

• Monthly salary ranging from NGN 70,000 to NGN 150,000.
