Business Development Manager – Lagos

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead enrollment growth and partnership initiatives for Digital Skills Centre in Ikorodu, Lagos. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on expanding the centre’s reach among corporate clients, schools, and community organisations while promoting its digital training programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Lagos.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, educational institutions and community groups.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to drive enrolments.
• Conduct presentations, pitches and contract negotiations.
• Manage the sales pipeline and report on performance metrics.
• Collaborate with training and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs.
• Monitor industry trends and local market demands to refine the programme portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven business development, sales and account‑management track record.
• Experience in partnership building within education, training or technology sectors.
• Strong marketing, communication and presentation abilities.
• Analytical mindset for market research, forecasting and reporting.
• Excellent negotiation, networking and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in Ikorodu, manage multiple priorities and act with integrity in a fast‑paced environment.
