Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the design and execution of growth strategies for indrive in Nigeria. You will drive geo‑expansion, vertical launches and optimise unit economics while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement local growth strategies, including geographic expansion, vertical launches and unit‑economics management.
• Lead go‑to‑market initiatives tailored to the Nigerian market, taking ownership of adoption and ROI.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with local fleets, enterprises and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with product, operations and marketing teams to localise and pilot initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators using tools such as SQL and Tableau, identify bottlenecks and optimise processes.
• Make autonomous decisions in ambiguous, competitive and regulatory environments.

Required profile

• Resilient self‑starter with a proven track record of delivering results.
• 6+ years of experience in business development, partnerships or growth roles, preferably in tech, mobility or logistics.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Highly autonomous and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.
