Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead growth initiatives for Bogo Beverages in Lagos, focusing on expanding market share across both on‑premise and off‑premise channels. You will shape sales strategies, nurture key distributor relationships, and drive brand visibility throughout the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to increase product visibility and availability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
• Ensure optimal product placement, merchandising, and brand presence at points of sale.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• Support inventory management, stock rotation, and new product launches.
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives.
• Set performance targets, track productivity, and conduct regular evaluations.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 5–9 years of proven experience in the wines and spirits industry.
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of route‑to‑market and territory management.
• Leadership experience managing and developing sales teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Residency within Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, or surrounding areas.

Required skills

What we offer

• Competitive monthly remuneration ranging from NGN 600,000 to NGN 900,000.
