Business Development Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive growth across our delivery, haulage, warehousing and fulfilment services. The role involves generating leads, acquiring new clients and building strong relationships to increase revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across delivery, haulage, warehousing, and fulfilment services.
• Generate leads, engage prospective clients and convert qualified opportunities into revenue.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understand clients’ logistics needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and service offerings.
• Negotiate commercial terms in line with approved pricing and company policies.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and provide regular reports on leads, conversions and revenue performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Customer Support to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Follow up on client payments and support timely resolution of service‑related concerns.
• Meet agreed sales, client acquisition, retention and revenue targets.
• Represent the company professionally at meetings, industry events and other business engagements.

Required profile

• A BA/BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in business development, sales or account management, preferably within logistics, e‑commerce or technology.
• Proven ability to generate leads, acquire clients and meet sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship‑management skills.
• Good understanding of logistics services, market trends and customer needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
