About the role
Plan International is looking for an experienced consultant to lead a baseline study for the Akelius Project in Nigeria. The study will support the organization’s education and monitoring‑and‑evaluation objectives, providing a solid evidence base for programme design and impact measurement.
Key responsibilities
- Design the methodology and tools for baseline data collection aligned with education and M&E standards.
- Coordinate field activities, including surveys, interviews and focus groups, ensuring data quality and ethical compliance.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to generate baseline indicators.
- Prepare a comprehensive baseline report with findings, recommendations and data visualisations.
- Present results to Plan International staff and stakeholders.
Required profile
- Proven experience in conducting baseline or similar studies, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and manage timelines.
