Accountant

About the role

Quema Consulting Limited is looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records. The role involves handling invoices, receipts, and reconciliations while supporting budgeting and cash‑flow planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain financial records.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment records and perform reconciliations.
• Monitor income, expenses, accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial and management reports.
• Reconcile bank and other financial accounts.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow and financial planning.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting procedures.
• Maintain accurate and confidential financial records.

Required profile

• HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• ICAN/ACCA or other professional qualification is an advantage.
