About the role
We are looking for an entry‑level Accountant to manage financial records and support budgeting for our agricultural operations. The role involves handling daily transactions, cost analysis, inventory valuation, and payroll processing.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and record daily transactions, including income, sales of eggs or meat, and operational expenses.
- Track and analyze production costs per batch—feed, medication, utilities, and labor—to identify waste reduction opportunities.
- Oversee weekly or monthly stock counts for feed, vaccines, packaging materials, live birds, and finished products.
- Assist in creating annual operating budgets and cash‑flow forecasts aligned with production cycles.
- Process staff salaries, handle local tax obligations, and ensure compliance with agricultural and labour laws.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of OND.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
