Account Manager

About the role

HFM, an internationally recognised multi‑asset broker, is looking for a driven Account Manager to expand its client base in Lagos. You will be the primary liaison for prospective and existing clients, guiding them through the onboarding process and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise sales opportunities to achieve the highest possible deposits.
• Convert prospect leads into customers by actively managing the sales cycle.
• Present HFM’s products, services and trading platforms to prospective clients.
• Serve as the main point of contact, handling inquiries and providing ongoing support.
• Guide new clients through onboarding and nurture long‑term relationships.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all product features, trading tools and internal systems.
• Implement AML and KYC procedures accurately.
• Enter precise data into internal systems and stay updated on daily market conditions.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a bank contact centre.
• Proven ability to handle inbound and outbound calls and emails.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in up‑selling and cross‑selling financial services.
• Sales‑driven attitude with the capacity to work independently and meet targets.
• Familiarity with online trading or financial markets.
• Professionalism, high work ethic and eligibility to work in Nigeria.
