Volunteer Data Analytics & Data Science Mentor/Trainer

About the role

AnalystLab Africa is seeking passionate volunteers to mentor and train emerging African tech talent in data analytics and data science. As a mentor or trainer, you will share your expertise, guide learners through practical projects, and help build a strong community of data professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on training sessions in your area of expertise (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel, Python, Machine Learning, Data Science).
• Provide one‑on‑one mentorship covering technical growth, career advice, and portfolio development.
• Review and give feedback on learners’ code, dashboards, and project work.
• Contribute to community events, webinars, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in the chosen skill area.
• Strong communication and mentorship abilities.
• Enthusiasm for teaching beginners and supporting their career journey.
• Active LinkedIn or GitHub portfolio is a plus.
