Ticketing Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Ticketing Officer to join our travel team in Lagos. The role involves managing flight bookings, issuing tickets and providing excellent customer service throughout the travel journey.

Key responsibilities

• Book, issue, re‑issue and cancel domestic and international flight tickets.
• Handle reservations, itinerary changes and fare adjustments.
• Advise clients on optimal flight options, fares and travel routes.
• Process refunds, exchanges and ticket revalidation according to airline policies.
• Maintain accurate booking records and generate periodic reports.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Ticketing Agent in a travel or tours agency.
• Strong knowledge of airline ticketing procedures and fare rules.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre.
