Ticketing and Reservation Officer – Lagos

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Ticketing and Reservation Officer to join our Lagos office. The role involves handling airline ticketing, reservations and providing travel information to customers, ensuring smooth booking processes and promoting our travel products.

Key responsibilities

• Process flight reservations and issue tickets for customers.
• Quote fares, send confirmations and manage changes or cancellations.
• Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to check availability and secure space on requested travel dates.
• Provide essential travel information, including schedules and routing.
• Promote special offers and new travel products to increase sales.
• Follow up on enquiries, convert them into sales and keep updated on industry changes.

Required profile

• Minimum OND qualification.
• 3‑4 years of experience in airline ticketing or travel reservations.
• Positive attitude, growth mindset and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with at least one GDS, preferably Amadeus or Galileo.
