About the role
HR On Wheels is hiring a Tax Associate in Lagos (Marina) within the banking, finance and insurance sector. The role covers preparation and filing of statutory tax returns, supporting tax audits and providing tax research and advisory support.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE and other statutory tax returns.
- Prepare tax computations, schedules and reconciliations.
- Support tax audits and investigations with FIRS, LIRS and other tax authorities.
- Respond to tax queries and assist with assessments.
- Conduct tax research and support tax advisory activities.
- Maintain accurate tax records and monitor compliance deadlines.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant tax experience.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws.
- ICAN, ACCA or CITN qualification is an advantage.
Required skills
- Experience with FIRS/LIRS and TaxProMax.
- Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
