Social Media Specialist

About the role

A full-time Social Media position based in Lagos, advertised by Stride Recruitment Limited, covers managing the company's social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and other platforms. The role works closely with the marketing and business development teams to promote products, services and recruitment activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create, design and publish engaging content such as posts, graphics, videos and promotional materials.
• Develop and implement social media strategies to raise brand awareness and attract potential clients.
• Promote products, services, recruitment activities and business offerings online.
• Respond promptly to messages, comments and inquiries from customers and prospects.
• Monitor social media trends and suggest improvements to online visibility.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development on promotional campaigns and support lead-generation efforts.
• Track performance using engagement, reach, follower growth and lead-generation metrics, and prepare weekly and monthly reports for management.
• Keep a consistent posting schedule and ensure content matches the company's brand identity.

Required profile

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity in content development and presentation.
• Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing is an advantage.
