Social Media Specialist

About the role

SabiRecruit is hiring a Social Media Specialist in Lagos (Amuwo Odofin, Marina area) on a full-time basis. The role covers creating and managing content across social media, websites and marketing campaigns, with a hybrid arrangement of 2 days onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Create original content, including text, images, videos and graphics, for social media, websites and marketing campaigns.
• Manage, schedule and update content across social media platforms.
• Develop content ideas aligned with brand objectives, audience interests and current trends.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency and brand tone.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to improve brand awareness and engagement.
• Monitor audience engagement metrics and recommend content improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum of OND, HND or BSc in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a content creator or in a similar role.
• Strong writing, storytelling and communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh and engaging ideas.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital content trends.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools.

Remuneration is stated as NGN 80,000.
