Senior Social and Community Strategist

About the role

This senior position drives the social and community strategy for a B2B SaaS brand in Nigeria. You will shape brand presence, grow audience engagement, and influence online communities where enterprise decision‑makers, marketers and developers interact.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the social media strategy across LinkedIn and other platforms, including editorial planning, publishing cadence and audience growth.
• Manage and expand presence in strategic online communities such as forums, Slack groups, Reddit channels and industry‑specific networks.
• Lead employee advocacy programs by providing content resources, playbooks and engagement frameworks.
• Monitor social listening platforms to surface actionable insights for marketing, product, sales and leadership.
• Collaborate with design, video, PR and content teams to create platform‑native social content and campaigns.
• Build and manage influencer, creator and partnership initiatives aligned with brand positioning.
• Support social communication during high‑visibility events, launches or reputation‑related situations.
• Analyze performance metrics and continuously optimize strategies based on engagement quality, sentiment and business impact.

Required profile

• 8+ years of B2B social media, community management or digital brand strategy experience.
• Proven track record managing LinkedIn and other channels for enterprise SaaS or technology brands.
• Experience building measurable employee advocacy programs.
• Deep understanding of online community dynamics across forums, Reddit, Slack and industry networks.
• Strong storytelling, writing and editorial skills.
