Senior Planning & Reporting Engineer – Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking a senior Planning & Reporting Engineer to lead the development, maintenance and consolidation of project schedules and reporting for oil & gas projects in Nigeria. The role will support portfolio management, risk identification and the implementation of standardized reporting tools across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the TEPNG Project Management System and associated work breakdown structures.
• Standardize and consolidate reporting routines, dashboards, estimation benchmarks and templates in line with headquarters procedures.
• Support the CMS/PPM by identifying planning projects, trackers and generating regular reports (weekly, monthly status).
• Update the annual PPM schedule, manage work time schedules, and integrate services such as drilling and operations.
• Monitor implementation of schedules, critical path analysis, progress measurement and propose remedial actions.
• Identify high‑level risks and opportunities at portfolio level and define mitigation actions.
• Lead the preparation, consolidation and review of project schedules and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide support and resources to projects, propose and manage services on behalf of projects when required.
• Gather and share lessons learned and benchmark project performance.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Approximately 20 years of oil and gas industry experience.
• At least 10 years in a lead planning, reporting or risk engineering position.
