Senior Completions Engineer – Oil & Gas

About the role

Nestoil Plc, Nigeria’s leading indigenous EPCC company in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a Senior Completions Engineer to lead end‑to‑end completion and work‑over operations for its Warri, Delta site. The role involves technical supervision, design validation, and on‑site execution of complex well interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Validate completion designs, including packers, SSDs, ICDs, tubing movement calculations, setting depths, torque/drag, and well barrier envelopes.
• Lead offshore and onshore completions and work‑over activities, providing on‑site supervision and technical guidance.
• Oversee redress and pressure testing of completion assemblies, verifying drift, tally, and torque‑turn data.
• Collaborate with subsurface and reservoir teams to design completions that maximize production and recovery.
• Supervise perforating, acidizing, frac‑packs, pump‑downs, inflow testing and handover to production.
• Manage interfaces with wireline, coil, well test, and production teams for clean‑up and flow‑back.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in completions and work‑overs.
• IWCF Level 4 certification (Well Services/Completions).
• BOSIET/HUET and H2S safety training.
