Receptionist – Front Desk & Customer Service

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers at our Lagos location. You will manage front‑desk activities, handle enquiries across multiple channels and support the bakery team with order coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors and respond to phone calls, WhatsApp, and social‑media messages courteously.
• Take and record customer orders, provide product information and confirm delivery timelines.
• Coordinate orders with the baking/production team and maintain accurate order and payment records.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized and presentable at all times.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks, product displays and packaging.
• Create short‑form content showcasing cakes, pastries and promotions for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• OND or equivalent qualification.
• At least two years of experience in reception, customer service, retail or hospitality.
• Residence in Gbagada or nearby the General Hospital, Gbagada.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Presentable, reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
• Knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp for short‑form content creation.
