Photography editor

About the role

The Photography Editor will lead the creation and post‑production of visual assets for A21 Studio. Working both in‑studio and on‑location, you will ensure that every image meets the brand’s quality standards and is ready for web or print use.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute photo shoots in studio or on location.
• Set up lighting, cameras and related equipment.
• Direct subjects, models or clients to achieve optimal shots.
• Capture high‑resolution raw image files and manage digital storage.
• Perform image retouching: adjust contrast, lighting, sharpness, skin smoothing, spot removal, and makeup or hair corrections.
• Clean dust, correct shadows, and ensure product colors accurately reflect real‑life items for e‑commerce.
• Composite multiple images into seamless final visuals.
• Apply consistent colour grading across entire photo sets.
• Restore old, torn or faded physical photographs.
• Collaborate closely with photographers, art directors and clients to maintain brand style.
• Manage tight deadlines and deliver large batches of images on schedule.
• Export and save files correctly for web use or high‑quality print.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of SSCE (Secondary School Certificate).
