Logistics Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to support our logistics team in coordinating outbound shipments and fleet operations. The role ensures timely delivery of products to customers while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan routes, process shipments and resolve any problems or complaints.
• Coordinate with logistics providers and drivers to ensure timely, condition‑good deliveries.
• Track dispatches in real time and monitor delivery lead times.
• Work closely with the order management team to optimise daily dispatches.
• Schedule regular maintenance and servicing of fleet vehicles.
• Prepare accurate reports on shipping activities, fleet performance and logistics costs.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of fleet vehicles and monitor usage data to improve route planning and fuel efficiency.
• Record outbound shipments, vehicle maintenance and logistics activities in the company database.

Required profile

• Experience in route planning, delivery optimisation and logistics data analysis.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including drivers, logistics partners and internal teams.
• Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and reporting.
