About the role
The HSE Officer will ensure a safe working environment across all external works areas on our construction sites in Lagos. You will be responsible for daily safety inspections, managing lifting operations, and coordinating traffic management on site.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspections of external works areas including road, drainage, perimeter walls, utilities and site compound.
- Provide additional HSE coverage during high‑risk operations when other officers are occupied.
- Manage all lifting operations safety, issue and monitor crane lift permits.
- Coordinate the vehicular traffic management plan with the Site Logistics Coordinator.
- Cover for other HSE officers during leave or absence.
- Perform any other HSE duties related to roving and external works.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of HSE experience on major construction sites in Nigeria.
- Valid first‑aid certification.
- Experience with lifting operations safety and traffic management is preferred.
