Home Tutor for Nursery 2 – Literacy & Numeracy

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated home tutor to support a male Nursery 2 student in Surulere, Lagos. The role focuses on early childhood education, aiming to improve the child’s reading, speaking, spelling and overall motivation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one lessons in literacy, numeracy and phonics following the EYFS curriculum.
• Conduct sessions 2 hours per day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4:00 PM at the client’s home.
• Prepare engaging lesson plans and activities tailored to the child’s learning needs.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to the parent.
• Encourage a positive learning attitude and motivation.

Required profile

• Experience or interest in early childhood education (Nursery 2 level).
• Comfortable working with a male child with no special needs.
• Flexible to work on the specified days and times.
• Any gender is acceptable.
