Head of Credit, Marketing & Program Manager

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing micro‑finance bank operating as a digital wealth‑management platform, is looking for a Head of Credit, Marketing & Program Manager to lead credit operations, drive marketing initiatives and oversee financial‑inclusion programmes. Based in Enugu, the role will support the bank’s ambition to obtain a national MFB licence within five years.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end credit lifecycle – loan origination, appraisal, disbursement, monitoring and recovery.
• Develop, implement and enforce credit policies, risk‑assessment frameworks and ensure compliance with CBN regulations.
• Monitor portfolio performance (PAR, NPLs, recoveries) and take corrective actions to protect asset quality.
• Lead business‑development and customer‑acquisition campaigns for loan products, deposits and other services.
• Build and nurture relationships with community leaders, cooperatives, corporate partners and other key stakeholders.
• Design and execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns (digital, ATL, BTL) to boost brand visibility and deposit mobilisation.
• Conduct market research, translate insights into product and programme strategies targeting youth and women‑owned businesses.
• Manage the bank’s brand identity, public communications and reputation.
• Develop, launch and monitor innovative financial products and inclusion programmes, tracking social impact and financial sustainability.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in credit operations, marketing or program management within banking or micro‑finance.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian banking regulations, especially CBN credit guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to grow loan portfolios, acquire customers and manage risk.
• Excellent analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive decisions.
• Experience working with youth, women‑owned businesses or other priority segments.
