Front Desk Receptionist

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers at FMR Agency's Marina office in Lagos. This role ensures a professional, secure, and welcoming environment while supporting daily administrative operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the front desk during office hours, greet visitors, verify identity, log details, and notify internal contacts.
• Answer inbound calls, screen and route them appropriately, and take accurate messages.
• Maintain the visitor access register for security and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate courier, dispatch, and mail services, logging incoming items and managing outgoing dispatch.
• Oversee conference room bookings, maintain the reservation calendar, and ensure rooms are set up for meetings.
• Support administrative tasks such as document printing, filing, supply requests, and logistics coordination.
• Monitor office supplies, raise requisitions, and keep front desk and meeting rooms stocked.
• Arrange visitor refreshments and keep reception and common areas clean and professional.
• Maintain the office access control log and assist the IT/Security team with visitor badge issuance.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of a B.Sc. degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar front‑desk or reception role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
