About the role
We are looking for a professional Front Desk Officer to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our healthcare facility. The role combines reception duties with administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and attend to patients and visitors, providing courteous service and guiding them to the appropriate areas.
- Manage appointment scheduling using the facility’s system and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date patient records.
- Handle incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and perform general administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
- Coordinate patient flow within the facility to optimise efficiency and reduce waiting times.
- Support daily operational activities, including preparing documents, assisting with inventory, and liaising with clinical staff.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in administration, health services, or a related field.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration is an advantage, demonstrating familiarity with patient handling and record‑keeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a professional demeanor.
- Must reside in the Apapa area to ensure reliable on‑site presence.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
