French Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join our boarding school community in Lagos. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality French language instruction to students, fostering both academic excellence and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging French lessons.
• Implement the school curriculum and adapt it to student needs.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson plans.
• Manage classroom behavior and uphold discipline standards.
• Mentor and support students academically and socially.
• Utilise teaching aids and multimedia resources effectively.
• Participate in professional development and collaborative initiatives.
• Promote the school’s Christian values and ethos.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• TRCN registration is advantageous.
• Relevant teaching or boarding‑school experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Good character and willingness to work in a Christian missionary boarding environment.
