Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Financial Reporting Analyst supports Finance Business Partners and senior management by delivering accurate forecasts, scenario analyses, and deep financial insights that drive strategic and tactical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial forecasting, scenario planning and monthly TB reviews to monitor EBIT performance.
• Analyse hero SKU performance with commercial finance to ensure volume targets are met.
• Conduct gross profit reviews and drive profitable product mix each month.
• Align CBC calculations with inter‑company counterparts to protect local results.
• Monitor and control SG&A expenses across all cost centres, ensuring adherence to budget and business plan.
• Execute detailed variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast/prior year) and recommend corrective actions.
• Validate data integrity between SAP postings and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Deliver month‑end closing activities on time, including full HFM reporting.
• Collaborate with business units on free cash‑flow modelling and performance analysis.
• Lead monthly KPI sessions and prepare business performance reports for Nigeria.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a solid understanding of financial and operational results.
• Experience working as a service provider to finance business partners and senior leadership.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and influence decision‑making.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement of reporting processes.
