Field Officer – Direct PPMV Engagement & Data Collection

About the role

The Field Officer will be the primary point of contact between Sproxil’s programmes and Patent and Proprietary Medicine Vendors (PPMVs) at the local government area (LGA) level. Working in the community, you will visit, train, support and motivate PPMVs to collect high‑quality health data, including rapid diagnostic test (mRDT) images, patient surveys and barcode scans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular in‑person visits to PPMVs and community pharmacies, building trusted relationships and recruiting new providers.
• Deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group training on mRDT testing protocols, WhatsApp image capture, barcode scanning and incentive redemption.
• Support providers to achieve consistent, high‑quality data submissions and monitor individual performance.
• Perform mystery‑shopping visits to verify compliance with testing procedures and flag irregularities.
• Distribute incentives and programme materials, and provide on‑site coaching to correct errors.

Required profile

• Energetic and personable with a strong comfort level in informal health‑retail settings.
• Willingness to travel extensively across assigned LGAs.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Project Officer and report issues promptly.
• Good communication skills for relationship building and problem solving.
