E-Learning Instructional Designer

About the role

This fully remote, six‑month contract position is for an E‑Learning Instructional Designer based in Nigeria, working with an Australian organisation. You will collaborate with subject‑matter experts to create engaging, standards‑compliant digital learning experiences that align with clear learning objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interactive multimedia learning materials using Articulate authoring tools and manage content in LMS/SCORM environments.
• Create storyboards, instructional copy, and audio/video scripts to support learning objectives.
• Conduct usability testing and quality assurance to ensure reliable learner experiences.
• Review and improve existing learning programs, recommending enhancements to instructional methods and delivery.
• Support the design, development, implementation, and handover of e‑learning projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience in instructional design, education, or training.
• Hands‑on experience developing interactive content with Articulate and working with an LMS and SCORM.
• Strong visual design, storyboarding, and instructional copywriting skills.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for minor code adjustments.
