Data Analyst – Business Insights & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Data Analyst to collect, process, and interpret data that drives business decision‑making. The successful candidate will turn raw data into actionable insights, spot trends, and deliver recommendations that enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations for stakeholders.
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical teams.
• Support business units with data‑driven recommendations and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance policies.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance data collection systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
• Experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is an advantage.
