Community Health Officer

About the role

Jules Construction is seeking a Community Health Officer to oversee medical and administrative functions at its Lagos office. The role combines health‑service coordination with office management to ensure smooth operations for staff and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor budget, billing payments and manage payroll for the health unit.
• Order medical and office supplies and maintain inventory.
• Develop and enforce office policies, procedures and health‑safety protocols.
• Supervise receptionists, secretaries, cashiers and cleaning staff.
• Maintain accurate medical and personnel records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Liaise with doctors, nurses and other health professionals to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Provide informational material to patients and coordinate emergency maintenance when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a medical office manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, data handling and administrative processes.
• Ability to manage medical records discreetly and understand medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and customer‑service orientation.
