Cashier – Restaurant POS Specialist

About the role

Gusto Restaurant is looking for a detail‑oriented Cashier to manage point‑of‑sale transactions and keep accurate financial records. You will work in a fast‑paced restaurant environment, ensuring smooth payment processing for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash, card, and mobile payments using the restaurant POS system.
• Handle cash drawer operations, including cash intake and payouts.
• Reconcile sales and balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and report any discrepancies.
• Provide courteous service to customers during payment interactions.
