Business Development Manager – Telecom

About the role

Swift Networks Limited is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth within Nigeria's telecommunications sector. Based in Lagos Marina, you will work on‑site to identify new opportunities, build relationships, and deliver tailored broadband, VPN and enterprise connectivity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and manage leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Engage potential and existing clients, present customized telecom solutions, and prepare persuasive proposals.
• Negotiate commercial terms in line with company policies and meet revenue targets.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support pricing and product positioning.
• Collaborate with finance, technical, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven new‑business development experience in telecommunications, preferably broadband, VPN or enterprise connectivity.
• Strong analytical ability and basic financial understanding for pricing and business case preparation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to manage expectations and build long‑term relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Telecommunications or related field is preferred.
