Videographer & Video Editor

About the role

We are looking for a creative Videographer & Video Editor to capture and produce high‑quality visual content for corporate events, promotional campaigns, documentaries and other media productions.

Key responsibilities

• Capture video footage for events, advertisements, interviews, documentaries and news features.
• Meet with stakeholders to define project objectives, timelines and budgets.
• Select and set up cameras, lenses, lighting, ISO, aperture and other technical parameters.
• Participate in pre‑production tasks such as script review, story‑boarding and shot planning.
• Organise and manage video files using appropriate storage systems.
• Edit raw footage into compelling stories, adding music, graphics, effects, animations, subtitles and dialogue.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications and management teams to deliver engaging multimedia content.
• Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining high production standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging videography technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in a relevant field.
• Residence near Bode Thomas Road, Surulere, Lagos and ability to travel on short notice.
• Minimum 3 years of professional videography and editing experience.
• Strong organisational, communication and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Filmora, Final Cut Pro and iMovie.
• Experience using CorelDRAW and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid knowledge of camera operation, lenses, lighting equipment and production techniques.
• Familiarity with special effects, motion graphics, 3D design and animation.
