Van Marketing Officer – Community Outreach & Field Sales

About the role

The Van Marketing Officer will be the face of Skipper Eye‑Q Hospital on the road, driving community outreach and generating patient leads for eye‑care services. Working from a mobile clinic van, you will engage schools, corporate offices and local organisations across Lagos to promote free eye‑screening events and raise awareness of preventative eye health.

Key responsibilities

• Identify target neighbourhoods and build partnerships with community leaders, schools and corporate partners.
• Plan, organise and promote health‑fair events and free eye‑screening camps.
• Generate and nurture patient leads through in‑person pitching and relationship building.
• Coordinate travel routes, clinic schedules and logistics to ensure efficient coverage of assigned areas.
• Record and report patient numbers, sales, inventory and field feedback using Excel and other reporting tools.
• Represent the hospital’s brand, educating the public on eye‑care prevention and treatment options.

Required profile

• HND or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Health or related field.
• 1‑4 years of experience in healthcare marketing, field sales or community‑focused services.
• Excellent communication, public speaking and relationship‑building abilities.
• High mobility – ability to travel to remote locations, stand for long periods and lift marketing materials.
