Tracking Officer – Asset Monitoring & Security

About the role

The Tracking Officer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of tracking information and ensuring that all financed assets are equipped with fully functional tracking devices. This role provides critical asset security, risk management, and timely intervention for non‑payment or potential loss.

Key responsibilities

• Verify correct installation of tracking devices on assets before client delivery, including system tests, diagnostics and signal confirmation.
• Maintain installation verification records for audit and operational purposes.
• Monitor daily asset tracking signals, review dashboards and alerts, and flag any anomalies, signal loss, tampering or suspicious movements.
• Maintain accurate tracking logs and daily performance reports.
• Respond promptly to device malfunctions, intermittent signals, tampering or loss, coordinating with technical teams and field technicians.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Asset Recovery, Collections, Head of Operations or Business Head and document incident resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Collections, Asset Recovery, Operations and external law‑enforcement agencies to ensure accurate asset visibility.

• Strong collaboration skills with Collections, Asset Recovery, Operations and law‑enforcement teams.
