Tourism Experience Lead

About the role

The Tourism Experience Lead will coordinate and supervise the delivery of travel and tourism experiences, ensuring high service standards, smooth execution and client satisfaction. This hybrid position is based in Lagos and involves managing itineraries, vendor relationships and compliance with visa and destination requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise travel and tourism experience delivery, maintaining quality standards.
• Review and approve itineraries, quotations, vendor selections and client communications.
• Oversee visa applications and travel documentation to ensure compliance with destination regulations.
• Research emerging destinations and tourism trends to support business growth.
• Manage relationships with travel vendors, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Monitor client itineraries, send confirmations, updates and travel advisories promptly.
• Handle escalated client concerns, special requests and service recovery situations.
• Review destination content and experience narratives for brand consistency.
• Track client feedback and trip performance, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Prepare periodic reports on team activities, vendor performance and overall experience delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in tourism, travel, hospitality or customer experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, people management and stakeholder communication abilities.
• High emotional intelligence with conflict‑resolution skills.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple travel projects simultaneously under pressure.
• Sound knowledge of travel planning, itinerary development and documentation processes.
• Understanding of visa procedures, international travel requirements and destination regulations.
• Proficiency in client communication across email, messaging platforms and social channels.
• Strong documentation, record‑keeping and basic data‑privacy awareness.
