Ticketing Officer

About the role

The Ticketing Officer will manage the end‑to‑end process of issuing, modifying and cancelling flight tickets for both domestic and international itineraries. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring accurate bookings and delivering professional support throughout the travel journey.

Key responsibilities

• Book, issue, reissue, and cancel flight tickets using GDS platforms.
• Handle reservations, itinerary changes, refunds, exchanges and ticket revalidation in line with airline policies.
• Maintain precise travel documentation and booking records, preparing periodic reports.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service before, during, and after ticket issuance.
• Stay updated on airline schedules, fare changes, travel regulations and visa requirements.
• Resolve ticketing issues and customer complaints efficiently.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Ticketing Agent in a travel or tours agency.
• Strong knowledge of airline ticketing procedures and fare rules.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
• Professional certifications in airline ticketing or travel management are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
