Ticketing and Reservations Officer

About the role

The Ticketing and Reservations Officer will manage the end‑to‑end booking process for air, rail, hotel and car rental services using the Amadeus GDS. You will support corporate and leisure travelers, ensuring accurate ticket issuance, schedule changes and compliance with client travel policies.

Key responsibilities

• Create and issue tickets for air, rail, hotel and car rental reservations using Amadeus and other booking platforms.
• Interpret and apply client travel policies, fare rules and supplier contracts.
• Handle high volumes of email and phone requests from travel desk officers and individual travelers.
• Manage schedule changes, flight cancellations, re‑issues and refunds promptly.
• Monitor Passenger Name Records (PNRs) for disruptions and provide alternative solutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of airline policies, visa requirements and airport security procedures.
• Ensure data accuracy in all passenger records and documentation.
• Assist customers in planning corporate and leisure travel to achieve the best routes and lowest cost.
• Collaborate with account managers to resolve service or fulfilment issues.
• Achieve individual and team targets for accuracy, productivity and quality service.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: HND.
• At least 4 years of experience in ticketing and reservations or a similar role.
• Strong client relationship management and high client satisfaction scores.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet productivity targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Amadeus GDS.
