Technical Assistant

About the role

The Technical Assistant will provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to the Group Managing Director (GMD). This role ensures the GMD’s schedule, communications, and office operations run smoothly, enabling effective decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the GMD’s calendar, appointments, travel arrangements and prepare briefing materials for meetings and conferences.
• Draft, review and circulate correspondence, reports, memos and presentations on behalf of the GMD.
• Organise internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up on action items.
• Support the GMD in tracking strategic initiatives, project KPIs and preparing executive summaries for senior management.
• Act as the primary liaison between the GMD and internal/external stakeholders, handling confidential information with discretion.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences and travel, and manage expense reporting and budget tracking for the GMD’s office.
• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for confidential documents.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with department heads, project managers and executive team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in executive or senior‑level administrative support.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time‑management abilities.
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
