Technical Advisor II – Systems Integration

About the role

The Technical Advisor II – Systems Integration will provide technical advice and support for designing and implementing information system integration within the Faith And Community Initiative (FCI) in Nigeria. The role focuses on improving data quality, interoperability, and evidence‑based decision‑making to ensure hub‑and‑spoke health models transition smoothly to national systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and apply strategies, standards, tools, and best practices for information systems integration and routine data use.
• Lead alignment of data collection tools, reporting workflows, and indicators with national HMIS, eLMIS, and other Ministry of Health platforms.
• Provide technical solutions to government counterparts and implementing partners to ensure interoperability with national platforms.
• Strengthen capacity of CRS staff, government counterparts, and partners through trainings, mentoring, and learning agendas.
• Support knowledge management by analyzing program data, documenting lessons learned, and contributing to routine data quality reviews.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in information systems, public health, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience providing technical assistance on program systems or data management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with government counterparts and donor requirements, including reporting and dashboard development.
• Fluency in English and the official language of Nigeria; willingness to travel up to 25%.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with web‑conferencing tools.
• Familiarity with information management systems and digital data tools.
