Teacher – Full‑time

About the role

Heritage International School is seeking a dedicated full‑time teacher to join its Lagos campus. The role involves delivering the standard curriculum through engaging, interactive lessons and supporting student development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement instructional materials and schemes of work aligned with the curriculum.
• Deliver engaging lessons using digital, visual and practical learning mediums.
• Create and administer assignments, quizzes and exams, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and disciplined classroom environment.
• Record attendance, grades and progress, preparing regular reports for parents and administration.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher conferences and CPD workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject with a PGDE.
• At least two years of teaching or student‑teacher experience.
• Strong communication, patience, empathy and classroom leadership.

Required skills

• Proficiency with educational technology.
• Experience using learning management systems (LMS).
• Familiarity with digital productivity tools.
