Sponsorship & Marketing Lead

About the role

The Sponsorship & Marketing Lead will shape and execute the company’s sponsorship and partnership strategy, driving revenue growth and brand visibility across entertainment, events and sport properties. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead a high‑performing team and act as the primary ambassador for the organisation in negotiations and industry forums.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship and partnership roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, negotiate and secure sponsorship agreements with corporate brands, agencies and strategic partners.
• Create tailored sponsorship packages and commercial proposals that maximise partner value and revenue.
• Set and achieve annual sponsorship revenue targets, preparing forecasts, budgets and performance reports for executives.
• Oversee multi‑channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, traditional and experiential) to boost brand awareness and audience engagement.
• Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to uncover new commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with event, content and production teams to develop monetisable assets and sponsorship inventory.
• Lead and mentor the Sponsorship, Partnerships and Marketing teams, establishing KPIs and fostering a results‑driven culture.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 5 years of experience in sponsorship, partnership or marketing roles within entertainment, events or sport.
• Proven track record of negotiating and closing high‑value sponsorship deals.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with corporate sponsors, media agencies and industry stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical ability to translate revenue performance into strategic decisions.
• Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams and driving performance.
