Software Business Development Associate

About the role

SENRI Ltd., a Japanese ICT startup operating in Africa, is seeking a Software Business Development Associate to drive growth of its mobile‑based sales automation platform. You will work with enterprise customers across Nigeria, helping them modernise distribution networks and improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through cold outreach, referrals, networking and online prospecting.
• Identify and engage decision‑makers within target organisations and conduct discovery meetings to understand their processes and challenges.
• Deliver product demonstrations, conduct consultative sales conversations and develop tailored proposals.
• Negotiate commercial terms, close deals and ensure smooth hand‑over to Customer Success for implementation.
• Maintain an accurate CRM record, manage a healthy sales pipeline and provide reliable forecasts.
• Escalate stalled opportunities early and collaborate with product and technical teams on customer requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in enterprise, SaaS, FMCG, pharmaceuticals or medical equipment.
• Proven ability to generate leads independently and manage medium to long sales cycles.
