About the role

Sakopower is seeking a proactive Social Media Manager to lead its online presence in the Energy & Utilities sector. This on‑site role will involve creating compelling content, engaging with the community, and driving measurable results across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and curate engaging text, image and video content for all social media channels.
• Write posts, design graphics and schedule content to maximise reach and engagement.
• Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a vibrant online community.
• Track key metrics such as engagement, reach and website traffic, analysing performance to optimise campaigns.
• Plan and execute social media marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives.
• Stay current with platform updates, trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with marketing, design and other teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Prepare regular performance reports and recommend strategic adjustments.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience in social media management.
• Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent in any field of study.
