Social Media Manager

About the role

Primote Africa is looking for a proactive Social Media Manager to lead its online presence across multiple platforms. You will create engaging content, grow our community, and support broader digital marketing initiatives while handling key administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain social media content calendars for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and X.
• Create graphics, captions, videos, and stories; schedule and publish posts.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and nurture online communities.
• Track performance metrics and produce monthly analytics reports.
• Stay current with industry trends and propose new content ideas.
• Assist digital marketing campaigns and brand‑awareness activities.
• Manage emails, phone calls, appointments, and maintain calendars.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and company documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams; handle data entry and documentation.
• Support HR and recruitment tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Marketing or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in social media management or administrative roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to multitask.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Google Workspace
• Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite
• Canva (basic graphic design)
• CRM or project‑management tools (preferred)
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Canva AI
