Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a creative and data‑driven Social Media Manager to lead our online presence in Lagos. You will shape strategy, produce engaging content, and grow our community across multiple platforms while aligning with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies that support brand and sales goals.
• Create and schedule compelling content (text, graphics, video, reels, stories) using a content calendar.
• Engage daily with followers, respond to comments, DMs, and mentions, and nurture online communities.
• Plan, launch, and optimise paid advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.
• Monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform tactics.
• Track performance metrics (reach, impressions, engagement, conversions, ROI) and produce regular analytical reports.
• Manage social media budgets, research emerging platforms, and recommend new digital opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, PR, sales, design, copywriting, and video teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Media Studies or related field (preferred).
• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or Digital Marketer.
• Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation abilities.
• Deep understanding of major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube).
• Knowledge of SEO, platform algorithms, and content optimisation.
• Experience managing paid ad campaigns and analysing results.
