Social Media Manager

About the role

E-direct is looking for a proactive Social Media Manager to drive its digital presence for its hotel operations in Lagos. You will develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with marketing goals, creates engaging content, and builds strong relationships with online audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy supporting business objectives.
• Create, schedule, publish and manage content on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Produce high‑quality captions, graphics, short‑form videos and promotional material that reflect the brand.
• Maintain content calendars to ensure consistent, timely posting.
• Capture or coordinate photos and videos showcasing hotel facilities, guest experiences, events and promotions.
• Monitor trends, hashtags and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Respond promptly to comments, messages, reviews and customer enquiries.
• Manage social media advertising campaigns and track performance metrics.
• Analyse KPIs such as reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions and ROI, and prepare regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Events and Operations teams to promote campaigns and special offers.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: SSCE.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar social media role.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to brand guidelines.
